Please note, as we are a small charity and funding is extremely limited, all positions are on a voluntary basis. If your application is successful we will invite you for an informal interview with one of our CEO's via Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
Due to the nature of our charity some roles may require you to hold a current DBS this is to protect the vulnerable families we work with, if this is required you will be informed in the interview stage and you will be required to provide a current DBS. All applicants will be required to provide at least two references to enable us to ensure the safety of our service users.
What Will You Be Doing and What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for trustees to join our family and help support families through their loss. We are looking for people who are passionate about and have experience in fundraising. Any experience of child bereavement would be an advantage in understanding the pain of the loss of a child, however training will be given. A high level of empathy is needed for this role as you will be helping vulnerable families. A level of experience with fundraising both in the community and digitally. If you have experience in the non-profit sector, fundraising or event planning or management this role may be perfect for you!
What Difference Will You Make?
This is a vital role, helping to ensure that we can further support bereaved families through their grief, and improve the services we offer. As a trustee you will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to help the strategic progression of the charity.
As part of our board you will help to support us and shape our work and strategic direction as well as help us achieve our purpose of providing the best support we can to bereaved families and create changes for safer maternity and neonatal care, helping us to safeguard little lives and support the families who've experienced the devastation of baby or child loss.

We are currently looking for an experienced treasurer to join our board of trustees. Your skills will help to keep the charity financially viable and assist us in our goals.
You should be able to demonstrate experience as a treasurer as a trusted role we need to ensure that our limited funds are kept on track. You should be kind, caring and compassionate as you will be helping bereaved families. This is a Trustee Role and due to working with Charity finances you may be required to provide a current DBS dependent on suitable references.

As a trustee, you will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to help the strategic progression of the charity. The role of Treasurer is so important to us - not only to keep us financially viable, we are looking for someone to help us formulate our vision for the future. The role of treasurer is a key role in our organisation. Your leadership and commitment will ensure we continue to provide & extend our range of much-needed support & services to our beneficiaries.
